House Appropriations Committee Chairman Hal Rogers (R-KY) is bringing forward a provision to abolish Title X completely, eliminating all basic primary and preventive care, such as lifesaving cancer screenings, contraception, STI testing and treatment, and annual exams, for millions of women all over the country. The new Republican majority in the House is pushing HR3 that would forbid women from using their own money to obtain an abortion related services at the risk of invalidating their entire employer's health plan.
