Only a fool would ignore these dire warnings! (I am not referring to you, but to your "stuck in their denial" colleagues. You can share my comment with them.)

How will we explain our inaction to our children and grandchildren when they inherit a world under siege by extreme climate events, oceans bereft of life, and sea level rising into coastal cities?

Climate change is the biggest threat the world faces at the moment - it must be addressed in every way possible as soon as possible.

Act on climate change before it's too late to do anything.

Politicians and the media need to get real about this crisis. We need to do something NOW!

The weather extremes get greater each year with each storm labeled the worse we have seen by the networks. Even if you do not believe would it not be safer and better to err on the side of caution and try to prevent more destruction?

There is no time to waste. We do not have decades left without experiencing dire consequences. That could happen at any time. If we don't act now, we are signing the death-warrants of millions (if not billions) of people and animals -- of ourselves, our children and our children's children.

Global warming should be a top priority for the world to address and seek solutions to before it is too late.

Droughts in Australia. A weak monsoon that delivers crucial rainwater to South Asia. Megadroughts in California and the Pacific Northwest. A troubling worldwide rise in ocean temperatures that will mean less fish and more storms, and more severe storms, and more melting polar ice and seas that will eventually rise. Failing crops. Higher prices for many foodstuffs. ALL DUE DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY TO GLOBAL WARMING AND CLIMATE CHANGE -- THAT A FRIGHTENINGLY LARGE NUMBER OF INCOMPETENT NON-SCIENTIST POLITICAL 'LEADERS' PROCLAIM IS A HOAX! When in fact the true hoax is the self-righteous and DANGEROUS FOOLS WHO INSIST IT IS A HOAX! Either learn the facts, or resign your seat and go home. You provide no public service when you are engaged in resistance to policies which could help to mitigate THE MOST TROUBLING ENVIRONMENTAL TREND OF OUR TIME, ONE THAT COULD LEAD TO A MULTI-LEVEL CATASTROPHE OF CROP FAILURE, MULTI-TRILLION DOLLAR WORLDWIDE CITY AND COASTAL DAMAGE, ECONOMIC COLLAPSE, AND WAR.

IF THIS IS TOO UNCOMFORTABLE OR DIFFICULT FOR THE CRUZES AND INHOFES OF THE WORLD TO GRASP, THEN THEY SHOULD DO THE PUBLIC A GREAT FAVOR AND LEAVE WASHINGTON D.C. BEFORE THE DAMAGE IS COMPOUNDED. PLEASE TELL THEM I HOLD THEM BENEATH CONTEMPT FOR FAILING TO LEAD JUST WHEN LEADERS AND INNOVATORS ARE MOST NEEDED.

It is incomprehensible to me why climate change is not a top priority for AZ leaders. Sure, it is a difficult issue, and we certainly have no shortage of those... However, climate change effects every aspect of our lives - health, economics, personal enjoyment, education, industry, business, wildlife... Maybe AZ should think about moving it to the top of the list? Leaders should lead.

Don't be fooled by the Merchants of Doubt (see the documentary). Climate change must be addressed NOW by eliminating fossil fuels and expanding renewables.

We solarized our home in 2008 (with California/Federal incentives)... haven't had an electrical bill since, despite powering two electric cars (charged off our roof) and still over produce more energy than we use (We donate our excess energy to our local food bank) ... WHY, can't we as consumers, environmentalist wake up to the reality of renewable energy supplies? Why are, our elected Representatives so beholden to the continued use of fossil fuels? What am I missing?

We must keep climate-changing fossil fuels in the ground!

Climate change is the MOST serious issue facing the human race. It is an outrageous injustice to future generations for us to not swiftly implement an aggressive strategy to reverse the devastating course we are on.

Urgent, life or death issue. Food - water - shelter - humanity.

If you continue to ignore this, no one can stop the damage that will ensue. IT WILL BE THE END FOR OUR KIDS.

I have been in Alaska this summer watching the glaciers melt. They are a dying breed. Dramatic sea level rise is going to result in a tragedy for our species.

Please don't act like a frog in a pot of cool water over a low flame. By the time it realizes the water has gotten too hot, it is frog soup. Act now before it is too late, please.
