My son later attended that university and we were worried sick about him. Does that matter to congressional republicans? A crazed gunman executed 6 and 7 year-olds at Sandy Hook elementary school. What did congress do to protect us afterward? Nothing. Why is OK with congress for people to openly carry guns just about everywhere they want but yet they cannot enter the Capital building with a gun? Why do YOU get protections that we don't and what makes YOU so special over me? Can you understand why we citizens outside the Beltway think you guys inside are woefully ignorant? Can you understand the low, low, low congressional polling? When is the last time anyone was shot on a plane? The answer is not for decades BECAUSE airlines understand they need to keep guns off planes. Why in the world should malls, theaters, retail stores, schools, and churches be any different?
